Kyle Dehne won 6-3, 6-2 in singles action and teamed with Pete Schwallier to win at number two doubles.

Midland, Mich. - Grand Valley State defeated Findlay, 5-4, to finish seventh at the 2003 GLIAC Men's Tennis Championships in Midland, Mich. GVSU finished the tourney with a 1-2 record.

GVSU fell behind 2-1 after doubles action was complete. The Lakers' number two doubles team of Kyle Dehne and Pete Schwallier claimed an 8-2 win to score GVSU's first point. The Lakers claimed four of six points in singles play to claim the team win. Desmond Early won 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) at number one singles, while Kyle Dehne was solid in winning 6-3, 6-2 at number three singles. Matt Young captured a key 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 win at number five singles and Nick Cron won 6-4, 6-0 at number six singles.
