Results

Grand Valley State's men's tennis team fell, 5-4, to Mercyhurst in the fifth place match of the GLIAC Championships held in Midland, Mich. GVSU falls to 15-10 overall.

GVSU took two out of the three doubles contests, but fell in four out of six of the singles matches. Kyle Klinge won 6-0, 6-0 at #2 singles and Justin Saurbrey picked up a 6-3, 7-5 win at #6 singles. Kyle Dehne fell, 6-4, 6-3, at #1 singles, Nirun Raju dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision at #3 singles, Adam Sandusky lost 6-4, 6-2 at #4 singles, and Pete Schwallier fell, 7-5, 6-3 at #5 singles.

Dehne and Raju fell, 8-4, in #1 doubles action, but Sandusky and Klinge teammed up at #2 doubles for an 8-3 win. Saurbrey and Schwallier won 8-3 in the #3 doubles slot.
