Results

GVSU picked up a 5-1 win against Findlay in the second round of the Men's Tennis GLIAC Championships on Friday in Midland, Mich. The Lakers will play Mercyhurst College in the 5th place match on Saturday, April 17 at 9:00 a.m.

The Lakers won all three doubles matches and two out of the three singles matches that were played. Kyle Dehne defeated J.B. Harter 6-3, 6-0 in #1 singles play, while Adam Sandusky beat Yohei Takahashi, 6-2, 6-0 in the #4 singles slot. Nirun Raju feel, 6-3, 6-2, to Michael Sarno in #3 singles action. Dehne and Raju teammed up to defeat J.B. Harter and Jeremy Jackson, 8-2 at #1 doubles, while Sandusky and Kyle Klinge picked up a 8-4 win over Michael Sarno and Yohei Takahashi at #2 doubles. Mike Rhoads and Mike Bambini beat Mike Kantner and AJ Kissh, 8-0 at #3 doubles.
