Kyle Dehne opened and closed the day for the Lakers winning his doubles match with Adam Sandusky 8-1 and his singles match 6-3, 6-1.

Midland, Mich. - Grand Valley State took down Lake Superior State 5-0 in the third place match of the GLIAC tournament Saturday morning. The Lakers improve to 16-8 on the season.

Kyle Dehne and Adam Sandusky won the opening doubles match 8-1 and were followed by Nirun Raju and Scott Gregory capturing an 8-3 win. Mike Bambini and Jim Farmer won the third and final doubles match 4-0 as their opponents retired.

Dehne continued his dominance in the singles competition winning 6-1 and 6-3 to give Grand Valley a 4-0 advantage. Bambini finished things off defeating Geoff Markuson 6-1 and 6-2 to win the match.
