Grand Valley State dropped a 9-0 decision to #10 Northwood at home on Tuesday afternoon. The Lakers fall to 14-7 overall and end the GLIAC season with a 5-2 record. Northwood improves to 11-1 overall and 6-0 in the GLIAC. The Lakers are the #3 seed in the GLIAC Tournament and will play #6-seed Wayne State on Friday, April 14.

Northwood swept all three doubles and all six singles matches to tally the 9-0 win. #12 Teddy Mebounow defeated Kyle Dehne, 6-3, 6-1 at #1 singles and #22 Janis Skroderis beat Adam Sandusky, 6-2, 6-2 in the #2 singles slot. Carlos Canudas won, 6-4, 6-0 over Scott Gregory at #3 singles, while Bastien Labarta beat Nirun Raju, 3-6, 6-4 (10-7) at #4 singles. In the #5 singles slot, Romain Rogister defeated Mike Bambini, 6-1, 6-3 and at #6 singles, Sasha Nanninga tallied a 6-1, 6-4 win over Jim Farmer.

Dehne and Sandusky dropped an 8-2 decision to Broek and Mebounow at #1 doubles and Raju and Gregory fell, 8-1 at #2 doubles to Marcel Galik and Canudas. At #3 doubles, Farmer and Bambini lost, 8-4 to Labarta and Skroderis.
