Results

Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State and Findlay battled to the last match but in the end the Oilers ended up with a 5-4 victory on Sunday. The Lakers won at #2 doubles and earned three of the first the first five singles matchups to tie the score at 3-3. But Pier Presti earned a three-set win over Michael Rhoads to get the victory for Findlay. The Lakers fall to 4-11 on the year and 1-4 in the GLIAC.

The duo of Pete Schwallier and Kyle Dehne earned an 8-1 win at #2 doubles, and the GVSU's #1 doubles team of Desmond Early and Matt Young took their match to a time break before falling. #1 Early and #5 Young both ended up winning their singles matches in straight sets. Nick Cron was the final winner of the day for GVSU.

GVSU will now travel to the U.P to play Michigan Tech on Saturday, April 12, and Lake Superior State on Sunday, April 13.
