Lakers Tally 8-1 Win at Findlay
 

 
 
 

 
Kyle Dehne led the way for Grand Valley with a 6-1, 6-0 win at #1 singles.
 
 

Grand Valley State picked up its first GLIAC win of the season, defeating Findlay 8-1 Saturday. GVSU will host Northwood at Ramblewood on Tuesday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m. The Lakers are now 12-6 overall and 1-3 in GLIAC play.

The only match the Lakers dropped was at #2 doubles. GVSU swept all six singles matches in straight sets. Kyle Dehne led the way for Grand Valley with a 6-1, 6-0 win at #1 singles, while Kyle Klinge won at #2 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Adam Sandusky won at #3 singles 6-1, 6-0 and Pete Schwallier took his match at #4 singles 6-0, 6-3. Justin Sauerbrey picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at #5 singles and Shaughn Barnett won at #6 singles, 4-6, 6-1.
