Grand Valley State fell to Mercyhurst in a close contest 5-4 on Friday. The Lakers fall to 12-6 overall and 0-3 in the GLIAC. GVSU will play Findlay on Saturday for another GLIAC contest.

Kyle Klinge and Adam Sandusky teammed up at #2 doubles for a 8-4 win, while Klinge also tallied a 6-3, 6-3 win at #2 singles. Sandusky recorded a 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 win at #4 singles and Pete Schwallier won 6-1, 6-3 at #5 singles for the Lakers.
