Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State picked up two home victories against Lake Superior State and Michigan Tech over the weekend. The Lakers took down LSSU by a slim 5-4 margin and dominated the Huskies 7-2. GVSU will host Aquinas College on Wendesday, March 29 at 3 pm.

Grand Valley won four of six matches in the singles competition with Adam Sandusky, Nirun Raju, Mike Bambini, and Jim Farmer picking up victories against Lake Superior State. Raju and Scott Gregory teamed up to pick up Grand Valley's lone doubles competition win, 8-3.

The Lakers cruised in their second match of the weekend, beating Michigan Tech 7-2. GVSU won five of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches for the victory. Nirun Raju and Scott Gregory had solid performances teaming up for an 8-3 doubles win as Raju won his singles match 6-3, 6-1 and Gregory won 6-1, 6-2. Raju has now won 13 straight singles matches.
