Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State dropped their GLIAC opener 9-0 at Ferris State on Saturday in Big Rapids. The Lakers drop to 2-8 on the season while FSU, who is ranked 29th in the nation, improves to 7-4. Nick Cron was able to pull out a victory in game one of his match at number six singles but fell in the tiebreaker. GVSU continues its conference schedule on Sunday (3/30) as they travel to Hillsdale. The Lakers will follow that contest with three straight home matches on April 4-6.
