Grand Rapids, Mich. - Grand Valley State picked up an 8-1 victory over Alma College Friday in men's tennis action. The Lakers improve to 11-3 on the year with the win.

GVSU swept all six singles matches, five in straight sets. The Lakers also tallied wins at #1 and #2 doubles. Kyle Dehne won 6-2, 6-1 at #1 singles, while Nirun Raju claimed a 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 win at #2 singles. Adam Sandusky won 6-3, 6-0 at #3, Justin Sauerbrey won 6-4, 6-2 at #4, Nick Cron won 6-1, 6-3 at #5 and Shaughn Barnett won 6-1, 7-5 at #6 singles.
