Grand Valley State defeated Calvin College, 8-1 on Saturday. The Lakers improve to 10-3 overall and will host Alma College on Friday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Ramblewood.

GVSU swept all three doubles matches, with Kyle Dehne and Nirun Raju winning 8-5 at #1 doubles. Adam Sandusky and Kyle Klinge teammed up to win 8-4 at #2 doubles, while Justin Sauerbrey and Pete Schwallier won 8-5 at #3 doubles.

Dehne fell, 6-3, 6-3, at #1 singles, but Klinge won 6-3, 6-4 at #2 singles. Raju won 6-1, 6-2 at #3 singles and Sandusky picked up a 6-1, 6-3 victory at #4 singles. Schwallier tallied a 7-5, 7-5 win at #5 singles and Sauerbrey won at #6 singles, 6-0, 6-1.
