Results

Grand Valley State's men's tennis team defeated Hope College 7-2 Wednesday. The Lakers are now 9-3 overall and will face Calvin College on Saturday, March 13 at 3:30 p.m. at Ramblewood.

GVSU swept the doubles matches, winning all three. Kyle Dehne and Nirun Raju teammed up to win 9-8(5) at #1 doubles, while Kyle Klinge and Adam Sandusky won 9-7 in the #2 doubles slot. Justin Sauerbrey and Pete Schwallier won 8-4 at #3 doubles for the Lakers.

Dehne won 6-4, 6-7, 7-5, at #1 singles and Klinge picked up a 6-4, 7-6 win at #2 singles. Raju dropped a 6-3, 5-7 decision in the #3 singles slot, while Sauerbury fell, 6-2, 5-7, 6-1 playing #6 singles. Sandusky won 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 at #4 singles and Schwallier won 7-5, 4-6, 7-5 at #5 singles.
