Hilton Head, SC. - Grand Valley State picked up a 9-0 victory over Benedictine Monday afternoon to earn its second straight victory. GVSU, which is now 2-3 on the year, has lost just one set in its last two matches.

GVSU swept through doubles play, droping just three games. The Lakers dropped just one set in singles action on the day. Desmond Early (6-2, 6-1), Pete Schwallier (6-0, 6-3) and Kyle Dehne (6-0, 6-3) picked up straight set wins at one, two and three singles. Mike Roads went three sets (6-3, 4-6, 6-3) to pick up a win at #4 singles, while Matt Young (6-0, 6-2) and Nick Cron (6-2, 6-3) earned straight set wins at five and six singles.
