Bay City, Mich. - Grand Valley State junior Jordan Schrotenboer was named the GLIAC Men's Swimmer of the week for the week of Dec. 9. Schrotenboer recorded four NCAA "A" qualifying times at the Calvin College Invite on Friday-Saturday (Dec. 4-5), in which the Lakers scored 1,392.5 points, easily outdistancing Kalamazoo (948.5), Calvin (379), and Alma (255).

The junior from Holland, Mich., Schrotenboer recorded NCAA "A" qualifying times in the 200-yard freestyle (1:39.60), 100-yard backstroke (50.66), 200-yard backstroke (1:50.14) and 200-yard individual medley (1:52.37). In the 50-yard freestyle relay, Schrotenboer received an NCAA "A" qualifying time with a time of 21.56.
