Freshman Justin Pattermann was named the GLIAC Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week. He won both the 200-yard IM (1:57.70) and the 400-yard IM (4:14.35) as he helped the Lakers to a second place finish in the Doug Coers Invitational at Ball State University on Saturday, Nov. 16.

He placed second in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:59.31 and led GVSU to first place finishes in the 400yard medley, 800-yard freestyle, and 400-yard freestyle relays.

Grand Valley State will compete in the Wheaton College Invitational on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
