The second day of the University of Indianapolis Invitational resulted in an overall fifth place finish for the Men's Swimming and Diving Team. The Lakers posted 176 points during the first round of events, and an additional 162 points during the second for an overall score of 388 points.

The 800-yard freestyle relay of senior Dan Kimble, sophomore Kyle Burgher freshman Ryan Kraai and freshman Matt Witkowski provided the Lakers with a third place finish with a time of 7:15.95.

Matt Witkowski earned two spots on Grand Valley's All Time Top 10 with his 200-yard IM time of 2:00.38 and his 400-yard IM time of 4:20.39.

The Lakers will host Wayne State Jan. 12 at 6:30 p.m.
