Houston, Tex. - Grand Valley State finished ninth at the 2009 NCAA DII Men's Swimming & Diving Championships in Houston, Texas with a team score of 191. Drury won the Championship with 543 points.

GVSU's 400 free relay team of Matt Witkowski, Jordan Schrotenboer, Jon Bardsley and Jeremy Sall earned All-America honors with a ninth-place finish in a time of 3:00.58. Schrotenboer also earned and All-America honors with a 15th-place finish in the 200 back (1:51.11). Jon Bardsley turned in a 24th-place finish in the 200 back (1:55.26). Hans Hill finished 19th in the morning prelims in the 200 breast (2:05.54), while Justin Pattermann was 28th (2:08.31). Jeremy Sall was 29th in the 100 free (45.64).
