Findlay, Ohio - Grand Valley State opened with a clean sweep in the 200-yard medley relay and cruised to a 130-65 victory at Findlay Saturday afternoon. GVSU improves to 6-3 on the year.

Rob Parker, Hans Hill, Matt Witkowski and Paul Tansey touched first in the 200-yard medley relay (1:41.69) and the Lakers never looked back. Mitch Knoll won the 1000 free (10:52.01), while Corey Fellows touched first in the 50 free (23.02). Aaron Phillippe was second in the 50 (23.44) and Paul Tansey third (23.64). Matt Witkowski finished first in the 200 IM (2:01.22) and Ryan Smith claimed first-place honors in the 1-meter diving event (266.65). Evan Betts was second on the 1-meter board (249.35).

Kyle Burgher touched first in the 100 free (49.81) that led to a Laker sweep. Fellows was second (50.98) and Hill was third (52.69). Jimmy Donahue ignited another Laker sweep in the 500 free. Donahue touched in 5:10.30, followed by Paul Tansey (5:14.94) and Mitch Knoll (5:18.18). Evan Betts claimed top honors on the 3-meter board (281.50) and Ryan Smith was second (250.05).
