Bay City, Mich. - Grand Valley State senior Steve Larson won the GLIAC individual championship title, tallying a three-round total of 214. He was tied for 33rd place after shooting a 78 in the first round. Larson came back and fired a 66 in the second round and a 70 in the third round to claim the title. The 66 (-6) was a Currie Golf Course record. He helped the Lakers claim their first GLIAC Championship title since 1999 as GVSU won by 10 strokes with a three round total of 881.
