Second Round of 2008 GLIAC Men's Golf Championship Suspended Due to Darkness

Bay City, Mich. - The second round of the 2008 GLIAC Men's Golf Championship hosted by Saginaw Valley State University at the Bay City Country Club could not be completed Sunday due to darkness. The second round will resume at 9:30 a.m. on Monday morning. The 54-hole event will conclude on Monday with the third round beginning at approximately 11:00 a.m. Final round tee times will be posted at approximately 10:30 a.m.

Grand Valley State was one of three (Wayne State/Northwood) schools that was unable to finish the second round of the 2008 GLIAC Golf Championship. The Lakers are tied for fourth with Ashland at +5, while Wayne State (-4) is in first, followed by Saginaw Valley State (-1) and Findlay (+2).
