Grand Valley State University junior Steve Larson shot a total of -1 through three rounds of GLIAC play last weekend. He fired rounds of 71-70=141 (-3) to earn medalist honors at the Northwood Invitational at Currie Golf Course on Friday. Larson then shot a one-round score of 73 (+2) at Saginaw Valley State Invitational at Bay Valley Golf Course on Saturday.

He was the only GLIAC golfer to play in both tournaments and shoot under par for the weekend, leading his team runner up finishes in both events. Larson was the only player under par at the Northwood Invitational.

GVSU will travel to Erie, Penn. to compete in the GLIAC Championships on Oct. 10-11.
