Allendale, Mich. - Senior Eric Cowles (Perry, Mich.) finished 33-over par after four 18-hole rounds at the 2002 NCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championships. Cowles shot a final round 83 on Friday after shooting 80 in round three, 74 on Wednesday and 80 on the first day of the tournmanet to finish 73rd in the country. The Championship was held in Howie in the Hills, Fla.

Rollins College won the team championship at +58, while J.J. Jakovac from Chico St. finished the tournament +1 to take the individual honors.
