June 16, 2003

Senior men's golfer Kevin Kremer earned post-season honors for his outstanding play during the 2002-03 season. Kremer was named to the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-American Scholar Golf Team and also earned GCAA All-American Honorable Mention plaudits.

Kevin is the first player from Grand Valley State to earn GCAA All-American Scholar honors. This marks the fourth time in four years that GVSU has had a player make the GCAA All-American team. Eric Cowles earned the honor twice and Ryan Mouw once.

Head coach Don Underwood also earned honors for the Lakers success as he was named the 2002-03 Great Lakes Regional Coach of the Year.
