Results

Grand Valley State's men's golf team claimed the 2006 GLIAC Championship title after firing a three-round score of 881. The Lakers won the title by 10 strokes over second place Gannon University.

Senior Steve Larson won the individual title, after tallying a three round total of 214. Larson was tied for 33rd place after shooting a 78 in the first round. He came back and fired a 66 in the second round and a 70 in the third round to claim the title.

Sophomore Matt Johnson tied for fifth place overall with a 223 (73, 75, 73), while junior Tony Mango recorded a 223 (70, 74, 79), tying him for 11th place. Junior Josh Orler posted a 229 (77, 77, 75) good for a tie for 23rd place, while senior Kyle Murphy tied for 39th place with a three round total of 234 (72, 83, 79).
