Men's Golf in Second Place After Two Rounds
 

 
 
 

 
Brad Franz shot a 77 both rounds for the Lakers.
 
 
Grand Valley shot a first round score of 304 and a 311 in the second round, for a total of 615 in the 2002 GLIAC Championships. The Lakers are currently in second place after Saturday's two rounds of action.

Kevin Kremer and Brad Franz both shot a 77 in each round and both are tied for 10th place. The Lakers have two other players tied for 10th as well. Bill Schmidt shot a 76 in round one and a 78 in the second round for a 154 total. Casey Smits had a 75 in the first round and a 79 in the second round. Rounding out the scoring for Grand Valley was Glen Desgranges (tied for 19th), who had a total of 156, shooting a 76 in the first round and an 80 in the second.

Northwood University is currently in first place with a two-round score of 602.

The teams will play the third and final round of action Sunday starting at 9:00 a.m. at GVSU's Meadows Golf Course.
