Detroit, Mich. - Grand Valley State finished second at the Motor City Invitational in Detroit, Michigan Friday after shooting 293. The tournament was an 18 hole affair. GVSU will participate in the Saginaw Valley State Invitational Saturday (Sept. 30) and Sunday (Oct. 1) at Bay Valley Resort.
Kyle Murphy finished tied for second after carding a -1 71. Josh Orler and Tony Mango both fired an even par 72 to finished tied for sixth. Steve Larson and Matt Johnson tied for 40th with an 18-hole total of 78.
