South Haven, Mich. - Grand Valley State carded a day one team total of 296 (+8) and currently stand in fifth place at the NCAA Great Lakes Fall Regional in South Haven, Mich. (HawksHead GC/72-6,984). Northern Kentucky is first after shooting a one over par 289.

Josh Orler shot a one-over par 73 and is tied for 15th after the opening 18 holes. Steve Larson and Tony Mango each fired a 74 and are tied for 26th, while Mark Pawlowski is tied for 32nd with a 75. Kyle Murphy is tied for 62nd with an opening round 78.

GVSU will complete play at the Great Lakes Fall Regional Monday.
