Grand Valley State's men's golf team finished in third place at the Great Lakes Fall Regional with a two-day score of 621. The Lakers recorded a 311 on day one, followed by a 310 on day two.

GVSU was led by Brad Franz who finished in seventh place overall with a two-day score of 151. Kyle Murphy tallied a 158, which tied him for 24th place. Bill Schmidt and Jake Hamilton each recorded a 159, while Kevin Kremer rounded out the scoring with a 164.

The Lakers will travel to Pittsburgh, Penn. to play in the Duquesne University Invitational on Sept. 28-29.
