Results

Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State dominated the first round of the GVSU Fall Invitational Sunday at The Meadows Golf Course on the campus of Grand Valley State. The Laker Black team fired an opening round 297 (+9) and leads the way, while the Laker Blue team is in second after shooting a 300 (+12). The second and final round will begin with at 9:30 a.m. shotgun start Monday.

Matt Johnson led the way for the GVSU Black team and is in third place overall after shooting a 73 (+1). Danny Vaughn and Mark Pawlowski are both tied for fourth after carding 74's (+2). Nick Blake shot a 76 (+4) and is tied for 16th.

Josh Orler is tied for fourth after carding a 74 (+2) for the GVSU Blue team. Tony Mango and Kyle Murphy are both tied for 10th after shooting identical 75's (+3). Steve Larson is tied for 16th at four-over (76), while Matt Malloure tied for 23rd with a 78 (+6).
