Union, KY - Grand Valley State finished third at the NCAA DII Great Lakes Golf Regional in Union, Kentucky. GVSU shot a 305 final round for a three-day total of 911. Northern Kentucky claimed top honors at the regional with an 899, while Saginaw Valley State was second with a 904.

Kevin Kremer was the Lakers' top finisher with a three-day total of 226. Kremer opened the tourney with an 82 and was in 34th place after day one. However, Kremer fired a 70 to move into the 14th position, followed by a final round 74 that moved him into eighth. Bill Schmidt finished T/12th with a three-round 226, while Kyle Murphy fired a 230 that placed hit T/19th. Jake Hamilton tied for 21st with a 231 and Steve Larson finished 37th with a 242.
