Alton, Ill. - Individual Results

Grand Valley State fired an opening round 297 and are currently tied for seventh place at the third Great Lakes Regional in Alton, Ill. Steve Larson led the Lakers with a first round score of 73 to rank in a tie for 16th. The Lakers will wrap up the tournament tomorrow in second round play.

Following Larson on the leaderboard were Matt Malloure and Josh Orler who each shot a first round 74. Malloure and Orler are currently tied for 21st overall. Rounding out the Laker scoring was Matt Johnson who fired a 76.

Grand Valley State is currently tied for seventh place with Saginaw Valley State and Wisconsin-Parkside just 10 strokes behind tournament leader, Wayne State.
