Results

Grand Valley State's men's golf team took third place at the Oiler Spring Invitational this weekend. GVSU tallied a two-round score of 611, while Ferris State claimed the title with a two-day total of 581. The Lakers will travel to Auburn, Ind. for the NCAA Regional Qualifier #3 on Sunday, April 18 and Monday, April 19.

Steve Larson led the Lakers, tying for seventh place with a two-day score of 149. Larson shot a 77 on day one and a 72 on day two. Kevin Kremer and Jacob Hamilton both tied for 15th place as they each shot a two-round score of 151. Bill Schmidt shot a 160, which tied for 53rd place and Glenn Desgranges rounded out the scoring for the Lakers tying for 67th place with a 164.
