Results

Grand Valley State tallied a two-day score of 584 to finish in second place at the Great Lakes Region Invitational #2. The 22 team tournament was hosted at the Perry Park Golf Course in Perry Park, Ky. GVSU finished just three strokes behind winner Indianapolis, who posted a score of 581. The Lakers will next play in the Findlay Alltell Invitational on April 14-15.

Leading the way for the Lakers, was junior Josh Orler who recorded a two-round score of 142, which tied for third. He posted a 70 in the first round and a 72 in the second round. Senior Kyle Murphy tied for sixth place as he shot a 144 (74, 70). Senior Steve Larson (72, 74) fired a 146, which tied him for 11th place, and junior Tony Mango posted a 152 (76, 76), tying him for 52nd place. Sophomore Matt Johnson tied for 85th place with a 158 as he recorded a 78 and an 80.
