Grand Valley State placed second with a score of 606 at the Bellarmine Intercollegiate in Louisville, Kent. The Lakers fell just one stroke shy of first place Northern Kentucky who won with a two round score of 605. GVSU will travel to Perry Park, Kent. for the Great Lakes Region Invitational #2 on April 1-2.

Junior Steve Larson finished in third place overall as he shot a 76 and 73 for a two round score of 149. Sophomore Tony Mango tallied a fifth place finish, recording a 152 (79, 73). Sophomore Josh Orler (78, 76) and junior Kyle Murphy (77, 77) both tied for sixth place, posting a 154.

Senior Jacob Hamilton shot a 158 (76, 82) as he tied for 16th place and sophomore Mark Pawlowski recorded a 162 (82, 80).
