Grand Valley State's men's golf team finished in third place at the LaRosa's Collegiate Cup hosted by Northern Kentucky. The Lakers shot a two-round score of 573, just one stroke shy of second place Bellarmine (572). Northern Kentucky won with a score of 562.

Junior Steve Larson tied for second place as he finished even par with a score of 140. He shot 71 in the first round and 69 in the second. Sophomore Josh Orler recorded a 141 (69, 72), which tied him for fourth place, while senior Jacob Hamilton tied for 17th with a 146 (70, 76). Junior Kyle Murphy (74, 74) and sophomore Mark Pawlowski (73, 75) both shot a 148, which tied them for 25th place. Sophomore Tony Mango posted a two round total of 151 (75, 76).
