Grand Valley State took third place in the two-day invitational at Tusculum College. The Lakers were in ninth place after shooting a 310 on Saturday. GVSU came back and shot a 296 on day two, to grab third place.

Jacob Hamilton shot a 78 on the first day and had an outstanding day two, shooting a 68. The strong finish gave him an eighth place finish, which led the Lakers. Kevin Kremer shot a 74 on both days, which gave him an 11th place finish. Bill Schmidt shot a 79 on day one and a 76 on day two, tying for 29th place with a total of 155.

Grand Valley will compete in the NCAA Regional Qualifier #2 at the Falls of Rough, Kent. on Saturday and Sunday.
