Salisbury, N.C. - The Grand Valley State men's golf team finished tied for eighth at the 2007 Richard Rendleman Invitational in Salisbury, N.C. with a 36-hole total of 603. The Lakers carded an opening round 302, followed by a final round 301. GVSU will next be in action at the Tusculum Invitational in Greenville, Tenn. March 10 and 11.

Josh Orler finished T-4th with a 36-hole 144. Orler opened with a 74, followed by a 70. Orler's 70 was the fifth-best single round of the tournament. Steve Larson T-26th with a two-day total of 151 (74-77). Matt Johnson and Kyle Murphy each fired identical rounds of 77 both days and finished T-49th. Tony Mango went 77-88 for a 165.
