Grand Valley State University sophomore linebacker Anthony Adams was named GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week as he tallied nine total tackles, two tackles for loss (-13), and one of six QB sacks by the Laker defense in a 38-10 win over Hillsdale. GVSU limited the Chargers to just 247 yards of total offense in the victory. Adams is the Lakers' top tackler in 2005, averaging 8.67 stops per contest which ranks 15th in the GLIAC this season.
