All General Public Ticket Sales For The GVSU-Ferris State Football Game Are Cut Off

Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State athletics is announcing that all reserved seats and standing room only seats for the Grand Valley State-Ferris State GLIAC football matchup set for Saturday (Oct. 6) night at Lubbers Stadium are officially sold out.

However, Grand Valley State students can still get tickets for the student seating section at the UBS Bookstore on the Allendale Campus, the UBS Bookstore on the PEW campus in Grand Rapids or at the Fieldhouse Arena ticket office. GVSU students are being encouraged to get tickets Friday at one of the above locations.

GVSU Keeps Anchor-Bone Trophy With 57-10 Victory Over Ferris State
Grand Valley State scored TDs on its first four possessions and built a 38-7 halftime lead en route to a 57-10 victory over Ferris State Saturday (Oct. 22) night before a crowd of 9,197. GVSU has won four straight games and improves to 5-3 overall and 4-3 in GLIAC action, while Ferris State falls to 5-3 and 4-3. GVSU will host Michigan Tech next Saturday (Oct. 29) in its annual homecoming tilt at 7 p.m.

Students can also get tickets at the GVSU Fieldhouse ticket office Saturday beginning at 2 p.m.

This is the first time in Lubbers Stadium history that Grand Valley State has sold out of reserved and standing room only tickets for a football game.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and gates will officially open two hours prior (5 p.m.). Due to the large crowds and Family Day activities, fans are encouraged to plan accordingly when arriving for the game.
