The Series: Grand Valley State leads the all-time series by a 19-2 margin and has won 14 straight matchups with the Huskies. GVSU is averaging 43.5 points per game in the last 14 meetings, including eight games with more than 43 points and three over 50.

• Michigan Tech was the third consecutive ranked opponent that Grand Valley State played. SVSU was ranked #25, Ferris State #24 and Michigan Tech comes in ranked #23.

• GVSU is 94-6 in its last 100 games with four National Championships (2002, 2003, 2005, 2006). The Lakers are 102-10 since the start 2000.
