Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State University Athletics is proud to announce the 2010 GVSU Football Mobile Ticket Tour. The tour was developed as way to take Grand Valley State football into the community and right to our fans. GVSU Athletics has partnered with Meijer, J&H Oil Convenience Stores, and other local businesses to make up the extensive tour. The tour will visit over 30 sites in the West Michigan area in just a 36-day period. The first tour stop will be at the J&H Oil Convenience Store on Lake Bella Vista in Rockford on Tuesday, July 27th and the tour will conclude at the J&H Oil Convenience Store in Allendale on Tuesday, August 31st.

The GVSU Football Mobile Ticket Tour will provide fans a chance to purchase single game tickets, season tickets, and the all new Family Sports Pass. Tour stops will also include GVSU football giveaways, schedule cards, and a chance to meet some of the Laker football coaching staff, including first-year head coach Matt Mitchell.

Meijer will host 13 tour stops ranging from Muskegon to Holland. At each location there will be free food sampling as well as a chance to win a football package including an authentic Laker jersey and helmet. Louie will be on hand to take pictures and give high fives and Laker giveaways.

J&H Oil will host 10 tour stops covering your neighborhood locations. While fans can purchase the normal ticket packages at all J&H tour sites, GVSU Athletics and J&H have teamed up for a special that would allow fans to buy two Field Level tickets for only $10 with the purchase of $20 worth of gas during the tour stop.

All tickets can be purchased at the 30 plus tour stops or by calling (616) 331-3200. The Lakers have six home dates for 2010 including #2 GVSU's nationally televised home opener on Thursday, September 2nd vs. #13 West Texas A&M.
