Senior QB Brad Iciek will be featured on the cover of the first-ever D2 Football Preview Magazine for the 2009 season. The annual will be a 112 page season preview. It will offer a peek at every Division II football team, include a preseason top 25 poll, have a preseason all-america team as well as all-conference teams, and offer conference predictions.
"We chose Brad for several reasons, but mainly it was because he is probably the most important player on one of the most important teams in Division II," said Brandon Misener, creator of d2football.com. "Obviously we considered players from other great schools like North Alabama, Abilene Christian, Pittsburg State, Northwest Missouri State, etc. When all aspects of the recent past have been considered, a Grand Valley player was the logical choice for the cover and Brad was the most logical choice from GV."
The magazine can be pre-ordered online at d2football.com now and will be distributed later this summer.
