GVSU football players and coaches have boarded a bus heading to Baldwin, Mich. to join in the search for former QB Cullen Finnerty. For more information, click here. He has been missing since Sunday night after a fishing trip near the Bray Creek Campground in Baldwin.

"Everyone has Cullen and his family in their thoughts and prayers during this time," said athletic director Tim Selgo. "He's been huge part of our football program and we all hope for a safe return."

The team will join other football alumni who have travelled to the area in an effort to bolster the already on-going search led by the Baldwin Police Department.

Finnerty led the Lakers to national championships in 2003, 2005 and 2006 and left Grand Valley as the winningest quarterback in NCAA history for all divisions, with a career record of 51-4.
