Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State junior defensive lineman Michael McFadden and senior offensive tackle Josh Bourke highlight Laker representation on various all-america teams following the 2005 National Championship campaign. 10 Lakers earned some sort of all-region or all-american mention and second year head coach Chuck Martin was honored as the AFCA DII Coach of the Year and Don Hansen's Football Gazette Coach of the Year. Martin is currently in Hawaii as an assistant coach for the West team at the Hula Bowl. Kickoff at the Hula Bowl is 7 p.m. Saturday on ESPN. The following is a capsule of those 10 individuals that earned postseason awards:
