Joe Wallace

Joe Wallace is in his second season as a graduate assistant at Grand Valley State. He will be primarily working with the Laker defense. Wallace spent the 2007 season working as a graduate assistant at Washburn University. Joe received his Master's Degree from Washburn in the spring of 20009. A 2001 graduate of Cornell (Iowa) College, Wallace was a two-time letterwinner as a nose guard. He led the defensive line in tackles as a junior, while receiving the coaches award and elected captain as a senior.
Wallace taught business education and was an assistant football coach leading the offensive line at Regina High School in Iowa City, Iowa. His 2005 team won the class 1A state championship - the first in school history.
