Prior to GVSU: Spent one year at Eastern Kentucky University, where he appeared in 11 games and caught three passes for 63 yards...Played one year at Antelope Valley C.C. where he had 24 catches for 231 yards and three touchdowns.
High School: Prepped at Lloyd Memorial High School under head coach Roy Lucas...Caught 38 passes for 567 yards and five touchdowns as a senior...Had 26 catches for 600 yards and six touchdowns as a junior...Named all-state and all-conference twice...Also participated in basketball, baseball, and track.
Personal: Son of Fred and Lisa Johnson...Biology major.
