High School: Prepped at Portage Northern High School under head coach Pete Schermerhorn...Had 32 catches for 584 yards and seven touchdowns and also ran the ball 133 times for 1,024 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior...Named Division 1-2 All-State honorable mention at running back by the Detroit News...Had 10 catches for 80 yards and two touchdowns along with 96 carries for 474 yards and six touchdowns as a junior.
