High School: Prepped at South Haven High School...Played for head coach Sam Nichols...Three-year starter who threw for 2,835 yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior while running for 212 yards and four touchdowns...Named honorable mention Division 3-4 All-State by the Associated Press...Set the Wolverine Conference record for touchdown passes and completions, while also setting South Haven High School career records for passing TDs and passing yards...Named All-Wolverine Conference twice in both football and basketball...Passed for 1,500 yards and 13 touchdowns as a sophomore and 1,700 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior...Named First-Team All-Wolverine Conference three times...Ranked the #86 player in the state of Michigan by Scout.com following his senior season...Also participated in basketball where he was honorable mention all-state as a junior, and baseball where he was an all-conference performer.
