James Boyeas

James Boyeas enters his first season on the Laker coaching staff and will work as an offensive assistant. Boyeas joins the Laker staff after working with the running backs at Lake Erie College in 2009. James joined Lake Erie for the 2008 season after spending one year as a graduate assistant at Valley City State University where he worked with the tight ends.
A graduate of Heidelberg College with a bachelor's degree in health and physical education, Boyeas was a three-year starter at left tackle. He earned Most Improved Offensive Player honors as a junior, then served as a team captain his senior season. James played one year professionally in the Continental Indoor Football League for the Stuebenville Stampede.
